I was not ready for the emotions I would feel while reading this。 I was one of the lucky ARC readers。 This book was a journey not only for the characters but for me as a reader as well。 We finally get to experience Lily’s life before the supernatural world and after the events that transpired in Alpha Rising。 Quinn， as always， captured the feelings and thoughts of the characters so beautifully and eloquently that it left me in tears for most of the book。 Lily’s mourning journey is a devastating I was not ready for the emotions I would feel while reading this。 I was one of the lucky ARC readers。 This book was a journey not only for the characters but for me as a reader as well。 We finally get to experience Lily’s life before the supernatural world and after the events that transpired in Alpha Rising。 Quinn， as always， captured the feelings and thoughts of the characters so beautifully and eloquently that it left me in tears for most of the book。 Lily’s mourning journey is a devastating one but Quinn captures grief so perfectly one can simply be at awe。 。。。more

Fantastic！！！！ （Spoiler free）I was given the opportunity to read the book early！！Thank you Quinn！！！！ Reeling from the events of Alpha Rising， we join back with the pack mates。 Quinn did an incredible job with character development and reactions to situations。 And Y’all when the stuff hits the fan， you are laughing and crying and not wanting the book to end！！

I was privileged enough to be an ARC reader for this book and I absolutely loved it。 I have read all of this series of books and spin offs （Gypsy Healers） since the first book was published back in 2011。 Quinn is an amazing writer you find yourself complete submerged in their world and lives。 The world she has crafter and continues to craft and develop is just incredible。 Read them all and prepare for a rollercoaster ride of emotions。 I recommend reading this book somewhere you are comfortable a I was privileged enough to be an ARC reader for this book and I absolutely loved it。 I have read all of this series of books and spin offs （Gypsy Healers） since the first book was published back in 2011。 Quinn is an amazing writer you find yourself complete submerged in their world and lives。 The world she has crafter and continues to craft and develop is just incredible。 Read them all and prepare for a rollercoaster ride of emotions。 I recommend reading this book somewhere you are comfortable absolutely bawling your eyes out one minutes and laughing out loud the next。 You will want to shout at them and you’ll enjoy their happy moments too。 If you like cotton candy as much as me you’ll definitely enjoy it。 Once you start this series you will find yourself asking WWJD（What would Jen do） a fair bit。 For the pack。 。。。more

Review of The Warlock Queen by Quinn LoftisI have been a huge fan of Quinn Loftis and her Grey Wolf and Gypsy Healer series over the years。 It started with Prince of Wolves （2011） when I first fell in love with Jacqulyn and Fane and the Romanian wolf pack。 I have followed their exciting adventures， discovery of their true mates， and the growth of their families and wolf pack。 During the covid-19 quarantine of 2020， Alpha Rising， book 12， was released。 It was now time for a huge war between the s Review of The Warlock Queen by Quinn LoftisI have been a huge fan of Quinn Loftis and her Grey Wolf and Gypsy Healer series over the years。 It started with Prince of Wolves （2011） when I first fell in love with Jacqulyn and Fane and the Romanian wolf pack。 I have followed their exciting adventures， discovery of their true mates， and the growth of their families and wolf pack。 During the covid-19 quarantine of 2020， Alpha Rising， book 12， was released。 It was now time for a huge war between the supernaturals that had been building throughout several books; we readers agonized over how many favorite characters we might “lose。” Loss of life DID happen; and as dedicated Quinn Loftis readers/fans， our hearts were literally torn from our chests。 As 2021 arrived， we could not help but wonder what will come next in our beloved Grey Wolf series; and more importantly， how will we all heal from the incurred losses in Alpha Rising… Without a doubt， The Warlock Queen begins with a melancholy feel。 The Great Luna declared several months of mourning for all supernaturals with no fighting。 After the battle， those remaining must pick up the pieces of who they are and heal friends and family。 Obviously， the battle between supernaturals was symbolic of good vs。 evil， with the Burning Claw members being the malicious and malevolent cast-offs from other supernatural groups who banded together to skew the balance among groups and their leaders who had been around for centuries in an attempt to keep peace。During the great battle with Cypher’s impending death， he publicly bestowed his wife Lilly to Queen of the Warlocks in front of everyone。 This put Lilly in a precarious position， as now she was in deep mourning over the loss of her soul mate。 However， she also had to worry about her warlocks， help them heal， and strategize about future war plans while battling privately with her lack of self-confidence as Queen。Soon Queen Lilly is informed of another warlock who wants to usurp her power as Queen of the Warlocks using an ancient law in a warlock book。 Lilly has been “seeing” the spirit of Cypher when she is alone in her room。 He comforts her， as best he can， and starts prepping her with knowledge of what is to come and what will be expected of her。 Add in High Fae Perizada’s deep friendship with Queen Lilly， along with love and support from Jacque， Jen， and Sally， and Queen Lilly starts growing into her own power and is ready for the impending battle。Even though war involves good vs evil， sometimes the lines blur to gray when decisions become more complicated and convoluted between the light and the dark。 Characters， like people， are always in a state of flux， as we are always evolving on the journey through life。 During this period of mourning after the bloodshed， many characters start pondering their past decisions and whether or not they were true and just。 Some characters rise to the surface in The Warlock Queen as they attempt to slay the battle within while trying to exalt their humanity once again。 Much to their shock， some might even come vis-a-vis with their True mate。Without a doubt， The Warlock Queen is a different type of Quinn Loftis book， but is soooo satisfying to read。 She allows both characters and readers time for grieving over the death of main characters。 But it is clear that through the love， strength， and support for one another exemplified among the wolf packs， supernatural groups， relationships， and friendships， that we all will heal and gain strength to face whatever will arrive in the future。 For Quinn’s readers， this lesson also applies since Covid-19 deaths and illness affected family members and friends locally， nationwide， and globally and our daily lives were drastically changed。 Now we can breathe a sigh of relief with the decrease of Covid-19 death and illness， hug our family and friends again， and find strength to move forward in our lives once again。 ~~ Kelly Wolf， PhD 5/5/21 。。。more

I was picked as an ARC for this book。All I can say without doing spoilers is that to me the book seemed to be at a more slower pace than the last few。 I found this to be nice。 It gave me the chance to take everything from the last book and breath。 Thus making this a book I was able to curl up with and relax into。 It sets the stage for the next coming books。 Just loved it and def recommend。
